This image was taken the same cold March Day at the Boston Commons, but not quite as dramatic as the the young lady in the previous two images. Our guide and model is Jonathan and we were at the Old City Hall
Boston's Old City Hall was home to its city council from 1865 to 1969. It was one of the first buildings in the French Second Empire style to be built in the United States and is now one of few remaining. After the building's completion, the Second Empire style was used extensively elsewhere in Boston and for many public buildings in the United States, such as the Old Executive Office Building in Washington, D.C. as well as other city halls in Providence, Baltimore and Philadelphia.
The Photo Safari was interesting and instructive, both from an historical and photographic view. Our models/guides were knowledgeable and entertaining, and we had three top photographers leading the group. Moose Peterson, Vincent Versace, and Joe McNally, so the only thing more we could have asked for would have been that the temperature was a bit less like the Arctic!
