If you would like more information about Zoomify, click the small "Z" in the lower left hand corner of any Zoomify window, or on one of the Zoomify links below.

The use of Zoomify in my gallery has been chosen to demonstrate how images can be enhanced in web applications and make web sites more useful and educational. One of the problems with web sites is that the images are often too small to be seen properly, and while you can increase the magnification of an image on a page in various ways, the result is a degraded and pixelated image. Using the application Zoomify to do this allows you to zoom in on an image and look at details.

Zoomify makes high-quality images zoom-and-pan for fast, interactive viewing on the web! Just JPEGs, HTML, and Flash! Zoomify can be purchased as a standalone application, but is also an export option component of Photoshop CS3 Extended. Using this export function creates a web page and tiles the image in multiple resolutions that are accessed through a Flash file on the web page. For more information and examples, go to: http://www.zoomify.com/. If you would like to see even more, there is a wide variety of customer examples on their site at: http://www.zoomify.com/customers.htm. Clicking on either of these links will open them in a new browser window, which you will have to close to return to this page and PXL PWR.

I am in no way affiliated with Zoomify Inc. or Adobe inc. The purpose of providing this information is to make potential users of my services aware that this is a very viable option for many of the web site projects that they are considering.
